Caroline's 9th birthday

Because of all Caroline's gastrointestinal problems, she is tube fed through a dual tube leading to her stomach and her intestines. Once a year, on her birthday, we try to give her a treat and hope that it will not cause her too much discomfort the next day. She handled her treat very well this year. She got to eat a ramakin full of Triple Chocolate Pudding. These are pictures of her enjoying her treat. She gets so excited when she tastes something yummy that it takes three people to feed her and even then it gets everywhere. We are very happy that she was able to experience a tiny bit of joy on her birthday.
